I walked up to this event by my neighborhood one Friday night and had no idea I'd have so much fun with so many people I know!  Desiring to be part of this neighborly vibe I asked artist organzier Eric E Science if I could take part -- YES!!!   Finally, I get to just sit and hang out and enjoy the music while sharing my chi-ful, local surf book.   No admission fee. Food trucks, local visual and music artists, nothing commercial. Just the slow, relaxed, local beach vibe that makes beach Life the best life! Hope to chill with you there!

Oh, if you don't know about my second book, Surfing the Sea of Chi, I've got to do a better job promoting it!!!  One day I might have a digital presence for it.  Been out a while.  Still relevant.  Just last month I had my first local fan reconition: someone ringing me up at the register saw my name and asked if I wrote it.  She said Kelly at Another Ride Surf Shop recommended my book because she was afraid to get back out and surf after a traumatic event.  So grateful that facing my own fears continues to help others, whether they surf or not.
