World Tai Chi and Qigong Day is celebrated annually throughout the world on the last Saturday in April at 10:00. This year an informal gathering of local instructors and chi arts enthusiasts will come together in Gleason Park to share in the global wave of healing that takes place during this worldwide event. We will meet at the usual Saturday morning 10:00 class spot in Gleason Park at the picnic tables and gazebo near the corner of S. Patrick Dr. and Yacht Club Blvd in Indian Harbor Beach. This is an outdoor event so dress weather appropriate. Several local teachers will be sharing/leading throughout the session to demonstrate unity within the diverse range of the chi arts we practice. This event is open to all and free of charge. No experience required to take part in sending healing to our global community. We will begin at 10:00 and run to about 1:00. Arrive when you can, leave when you want. Special thanks to John Henderson for initiating this event and contacting local area teachers to participate. Some of the participating local chi leaders include: ShiFu Lea Williamson of BeachsideQigong.com, John Henderson of 321Qigong.com, Tom Abbott from Cocoa Village and David Katz of Merritt Island. Feel free to contact John Henderson (at 321Qigong@gmail.com) or ShiFu Lea Williamson (321-759-3141) for more information.
